The Second POTUS Debate on Sunday

Definitely plan on watching this debate.

This will be a town hall style debate, so it will be interesting to see what kind of audience Trump and Hillary will be facing. I fully expect the ones asking questions to be against Trump.

Unfortunately, Trump's current scandal will likely dominate the debate. I doubt anyone will ask about the Podesta emails which were leaked today, which put Hillary in a bad light and could have damaged her had the GOP had a real candidate instead of the idiot they have.

I wouldn't be surprised to have a question about Trump dropping from the race due to his history of disgusting, inflammatory and racist comments.

I expect it will not be a good night for Trump. He's feeling the heat right now because of this new scandal, with several GOP pulling support. He was also outdone by his VP in the VP debate. I predict he will overcompensate in attacking the Clintons and look and sound very un-presidential and turn off even more voters.

Re: The Second POTUS Debate on Sunday

If it was me, I'd simply keep diverting attention to how the released Clinton emails keep pointing to the fact that Clinton has no empathy for the millions of Americans that these "free trade" policies have put out of work and will put out of work. There are so many ways to diffuse this, if Trump just will, or has the ability to.

He could also say that the American people are tired of this sort of distraction, but that if Hillary wants to go down this road he'd be glad to talk about the sex crime committed by her husband that she helped cover up. Then turn to the camera and say, "but what do the American people want to hear about tonight? I think they'd rather talk about....."

People are tired of these kinds of distraction. They get mad or shocked for a couple of days but then the difficulties of their lives come back into view. Trump needs to remeber that and talk about important things.

Re: The Second POTUS Debate on Sunday

I agree he must stay disciplined and hit on the emails and Clintons "public policy and private policy." After she gives some long answer about what her policy would be, he could simply say, "that's her public policy, but I wonder what her private policy is," then go into the leaked Podesta emails. Unfortunately, there's zero likelihood Trump will be disciplined and stay on point.

If he continues on about this being a "distraction" it will turn off indie and undecided voters. Don't downplay what was said. He bragged about committing sexual assault is what the video shows. He bragged about trying to force himself on a business associate but ultimately failing. That's some serious stuff. If it's brought up, the only thing to do is say what he said in the first part of his non apology apology, "I said it, it was wrong.". Don't point at Clinton and try to say, "Bill was worse." And don't claim it's a distraction. Accept the blame, admit it was wrong, then move on.

Then there's the rape lawsuit with a 13 year old girl which Hillary could bring up if Trump wants to attack Bill.

Wasn't Bill accused of raping a woman while he was governor of Arkansas? Jennifer Flowers?

No that was an affair he denied.

Juanita Broderick was the woman who accused Bill of rape. Also Kathleen Willey.

Re: The Second POTUS Debate on Sunday

So Trump has sic'd his surrogates on the Republican's who have recently condemned Trump and who have withdrawn their support.

"Trump's talking points urge total war on Rs." "Trump urges surrogates to unload on Republicans abandoning him."

Yeah, that's the answer.

smh

Trump deserves what is going to happen to him tonight at the debate, in the coming weeks before the election, and especially the landslide loss he'll receive on Election Day.

Trump is low energy tonight. Monotone and robotic in the opening.

He's getting more energized.

Trump channeled Al Gore, standing right behind Clinton when she was talking at one point.

Re: The Second POTUS Debate on Sunday

Trump flat out lied..."I don't know Putin."

During the GOP debates he claimed he knew Putin.

He also claimed he doesn't have any business or ties to Russia.
