The Falacy of "Holy Spirit Prompting."

The so called "Prompting of The Holy Spirit" in today's American Evangelical Church is a large part of ongoing psychobabble taught therein. In Scripture, the only proponent of such "Holy Spirit Prompting" is the false apostle Saul of Tarsus. He penned the basis for today's "prompting" psychobabble. None of his specific ideologies upon that are confirmed by any other NT writers other than Luke, who was himself not an Apostle but merely was a historian.

Today, this idea of "Prompting by The Holy Spirit" works well for "Christians" who:

1.) Need excuses for their goofy doctrines which are not directly from Scripture.

2.) Are self named "Pentecostals" who need justification for all of their crazy antics and big mouthed pronouncements which have no material substance.

3.) Are too lazy and dimwitted to study Scripture in a disciplined and Godly manner.

4.) Are comfortable with their peers who also think "Prompting of The Holy Spirit" is a valid notion for common Believers.

5.) Need to fill their Sanctuaries with some kind of perceptual drama, rather that using the boring Words of Jesus which are so much more difficult to distort.

6.) Need to appear to be authentically spiritual, because they have no Godly deeds to show.

7.) Like to prey upon weak and gullible Christians with sensationalism.

Give Scripture which justifies this "Prompting by The Holy Spirit" IN THE MANNER YOU CLAIM IT EXISTS IN YOURSELF. Lol. Just becsuse Scripture seems to mention some authentic guidance by The Holy Spirit does not mean you experience genuine "Prompting by The Holy Spirit."

Answer with Godliness and with intelligence, rather than with your snarky little feelings about me. Lol.

  1. There is One God. This one God reveals Himself distinctly as Father, Son and Holy Ghost.
  2. The Son is God himself in a human form or "God manifested in the flesh" (1Tim 3:16)
  3. Every sinner must repent of their sins.
  4. That Jesus name baptism is the only biblical mode of water baptism.
  5. That the Holy Ghost is for today and is received by faith with the initial evidence of speaking in tongues.
  6. The saint will go on to strive to live a holy life, pleasing to God.

It's fallacy, not falacy.

Saul was not called an apostle by any of the Twelve Apostles named by Jesus. Jesus never called Saul an apostle. The Twelve Apostles all had first hand training and commissioning by Jesus, Saul only saw a bright light, fell on the ground, and heard the disembodied voice of Jesus. There are only Twelve Apostles cited in John's Revelation, not 13. In his writings, Saul speaks of himself far more than he does Christ/God/The Lord. For instance, in 2 Cor. 4 he does so more than twice as often. None of the True Apostles ever call themselves "the chief of sinners" or any other derogatory names, but Saul does call himself that. Such a poor self image is not part of authentic Apostleship. Saul did not have doctrinal unity with the Twelve Apostles. The Twelve Apostles did not have any of the kinds of problems Saul had in his churches, hence his large volume of corrective writings. Saul falsely added many ideologies onto Christ's Gospel. For instance, he is the only NT writer to speak such convoluted and contrived nonsense about Grace. Jesus never once spoke the word Grace, and certainly did not demonstrate it as Saul tried to revise it. Revelator John quoted Jesus condemning false apostles at the Church of Ephesus, one of Paul's churches.

I have just done your work for you. I can educate you further, but such would fall on deaf ears and a stone heart. Pity. Saul was the first Professional Church Talker, and he talked so much in violation of Proverbs 10:19 that at one point a young man died. Saul's writings are very easy to preach about today because they are so milque toast and chatty, while Jesus' Words are very difficult to preach on. Jesus' Words are axiomatic, while Saul's are all suppositional.

Ignore my previous question, as I see you have already made your assertions regarding Paul, here. Most of your claims are negatives, which of course cannot be proven as stated, although they can be refuted, as I will do shortly, Lord willing. However, a common theme seems to be that Paul's doctrine was contrary to Christ's doctrine.

Could you list specific examples, quoting Paul's words, and then quoting Christ's words, to demonstrate they are contradictions?

So simple to do, as I already have started above, Poorly Observant Parrot of Church Nonsense. I will give here only the one example, since you are not capable of multitasking these kinds of things.

Review above my statement that Christ never spoke the word "Grace." Paul endlessly speculated, misrepresented it, and babbled about Grace. Compare Jesus speaking in Matthew 6:14-15 about the works of forgiveness needed for Righteousness, then look at Paul foolishly babbling about Grace apart from works in Ephesians 2:8-9.

If you can grasp this one, I will give you another to learn about. Irrefutable. Lol. So Much fun.
