This was mentioned on another thread today, and I was wondering if there were some concrete answers to questions being asked.

I'm sure we'll have to wait for Vicki to answer...or maybe somebody can answer for her.

Is there any way that this contest could be continued?

What were the obstacles to getting it completed?

Can there be a change to the first plan to facilitate it's completion?

I think I read somewhere a while back that they couldn't figure out how to get it to all the judges for viewing and voting. Would it be possible for whoever is in charge to just gather a few judges locally, and let them go through them and declare a winner?

Seems such a shame to me to leave this hanging out there. A lot of folks put a lot of time, effort, and money into their projects.

True and it generated quite a few new posters.

A friend particpated and finally gave up and had her own CD made.

My understanding was there was technical difficulties.

Well, there are enough techno geeks represented on this forum, that there should be a way to work something out.

I didn't start this thread to be controversial, or to bring any blame to anyone's doorstep.

I truly and simply would like to see a resolution to this.

It's a sore spot for some. A disappointment for others. It is something that has created animosity...but it doesn't have to remain that way! Surely there's another way!

I'm sure that Vicki would like to see the task completed as much, if not more, than some of the contestants.

I'm a problem solver, and just felt that if we knew what the problems or constraints were, we could figure out a way around it, over it, or through it.

Vicki, please don't take this as a thread meant to bring up strife or problems for you. I would not want that to happen to you, or toward you.
