CHAPTER NINE
Appointed Times
Yea, the stork in the heaven knoweth her appointed times; and the turtle and the crane and the swallow observe the time of their coming; but my people know not the judgment of the Lord.
Men are working…feverishly now…the frontiers of science. A young man…ready to launch his lifework…faces an ocean of different directions. Thousands of disciplines and specialties: in this wonderful, atomic, molecular, cellular masterpiece that God hath wrought.
But for the majority of humanity, these vast frontiers of science and physics all slumbered. Survival, conflict and battle were pretty much the order of the day. It’s important to see, then, exactly where you are on the timeline of life…or scripture 7time.
In a nutshell; from Adam until the death of Noah spans 2,000 years. From Noah to Christ, another 2,000 years. And from Christ until today, 2013 years. But based on a scripture year of 360 days, our Julian date of 2013 is fat by @28 years. In scripture 7time, the year is 1985.
Before the end of the year 1999 (2028 in Julian years), a seven year tribulation is to take place…putting its start at 1992 (2021 in Julian years). That’s seven years from today.
This 6,000 years of humanity is represented in the six days of creation…we living at sundown on the sixth day. The seventh day is hallowed, and reserved for rest. So too, are the last 1,000 years of creation reserved for the millennial reign of our Lord on earth. This seventh day…the seven thousandth year…begins 15 years from today. That is where you are, in scripture 7time. The year is 1985, with a tribulation set to begin in seven years.
From an angels perspective, how exquisite creation must be. Imagine rockin’ along for billions of years…billions of angels…doing whatever angels do. Then, of quite a sudden, there is creation of the earth and humanity. All in a new, physical dimension. Somehow outside of their own habitation. Somehow barred from crossing over our barrier, except on a mission from the master…yet visible to them…tangible to them. And just as suddenly, angels are assigned to children. Spiritual angels, assigned to physical children. That must have been new.
Humanity just sort of wakens to the blunt fact, that Satan is already here in the Garden. Yes, this is Eden…paradise…bliss. And yet, Satan just shows up, seeming to roam where he will. Roaming even here, to the fringe of these trees that Eve is beholding in Eden.
In a frozen, lifeless universe; so radiant is God’s creation of woman, that even the angels are slain by her allure. Way, way down here in the Milky Way galaxy; they risk eternal damnation, and breach great chasms of separation, just to touch the daughters of men. For she is the fountain of life on earth.
Timing, they say, is everything. We can locate ourselves easily enough, on a seven thousand year timeline. We may even nudge one micrometer into eternity, when contemplating the big bang some 13 ½ billion years ago. But it’s difficult to pin down…between our white-hot birth, and our earth today…when the creation of angels took place. And by extension, when the fall of Satan and one third of the angels took place. Or how all of that impacts life on earth today.
It would seem, that Satan’s fall precedes Eden. When our Lord says:
I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven.
he not only describes the quickness and might of his expulsion, but shows us an event in time. That it precedes Eden is made manifest, in his sinister deed there in the Garden…to poison the root of all humanity, in the seduction of Eve.
From there…Satan’s fall prior to Eden…the timeline becomes difficult. We presume that one third of the angels fell at the same time as Satan. This broadens our perspective of heaven. It now means, that there is both a heaven, and a place outside of heaven where one can be expelled to.
Is that place the earth? Only in part, it seems. We read well after the Garden story, in the book of Job, that Satan roams the earth indeed. Yet he still has access, to the sons of God assembly, before the Lord. There appears to be a heaven, an in-between place, and an earth. One third of the angels is a lot of angels, judging from the stars.
When our Lord walked the earth, its population was but a fraction of what’s going on today. Perhaps this helps explain why discomfitted spirits would beg Jesus, to be sent into a herd of pigs. After all, sources of the breath of life were much scarcer back then, for so great a host of expelled beings. Somehow, even so brief a taste of the breath of life…before hurtling themselves headlong over a cliff…qualified to move them from outer darkness, to resurrected pig status…something apparently infinitely better.
It could be that angels and their fall, preceded even the big bang. We just don’t know. What we do know…from scripture 7time…is that this entire 7,000 year capsule of life, is about to launch into its last 1,000 years. And from eternity, only one date really matters. The events at Bethlehem, Calvary, Pentecost…these not only split the calendar of humanity. They became an anchor in the winds of eternity. An anchor in time. All things are gauged as being before or after this moment. The angels were created before, and we are living after. That dark day…that black hour…has become the pivot point in eternity. And we both…we and the angels…inch ever closer to meeting. Ever closer to his perfect plan completed, right on schedule. [/SIZE]
