The Economy Is Going To Implode

Well, most are thinking "no duh!", but the following video(s) are an excellent economics lesson, especially for some of our more liberal (ok, pure unadulterated socialist) friends here. Unfortunately they will probably be the ones who don't watch.

It DOES take a bit of a commitment to view these considering that there are 8 parts and each is about 20 minutes long. I had no plan to watch more than a few minutes when I started and ended up watching the whole thing.

Okay, I found these on youtube about 2 weeks ago and her attitude turned me off so much, I stopped watching them. However, maybe I will take a second look......

Anything Ron Paul talks about on this subject is very good, and you can look back and see that he predicted these things years ago.

Yes, I have watched and read economic books and videos for years. A couple things this woman has said has intrigued me so I guess I will continue on and see what she has to say.

I've just started the 4th video. So far, nothing new for me. However, when I first started learning this stuff, I was shocked, very shocked at how far down we were. Now, in the back of my mind, I just quietly think, prepare......prepare......

I am not sure how much there is we can do, but I am shocked when when talk of any preparation brings talk of black helicopters and tin-foil hats for some people. Better to be safe than sorry IMO. To me, it is not about fear-mongering and jumping on a crazy bandwagon. People just need to look at the facts and be smart. If nothing bad happens in our lifetime, we can just be happy about it. I think it will though.

Everybody should educate themselves about this.

I spoke to a professor of economics once about the state of the economy. Her solution was more and more stimulus. She said that the US economy was not like a household. I get that, I think, but I still didn't understand how MORE of the same could be the solution.

i watched 4 videos, alarmist trash. all we have to do is nationalize, nationalize, nationalize: the banking sector, oil and natural resources, anyone who doesn't comply. obama will save us, after obama, hillary or elizabeth warren will save us. there is nothing to fear but republican control. for they shall be eating and drinking and buying gifts until the antichrist breaks forth to rule, then nothing will matter anyways. have a great day, viva chavez.

Her attitude and name calling don't bother me one bit. Sometimes people DO need to be called names. Nasty ones even! I actually like her speaking style. But far more then that I think what she says is spot on. I particularly agree with her assessment that going back to the gold standard would do next to nothing as far as stabilizing our currency. This current administration would simply fudge the numbers about how much gold the Gov is in possession of.
