Did you even listen to it? He didn't say he does not care about those people. He was being asked about how he is going to reach the American public and his strategy was frankly to not address people who won't vote for him no matter what

I didn't say he ever said that. I am focusing on what he said, "There are 47 percent of the people who will vote for the president no matter what. All right, there are 47 percent who are with him, who are dependent upon government, who believe that they are victims, who believe the government has a responsibility to care for them, who believe that they are entitled to health care, to food, to housing, to you-name-it. That that's an entitlement. And the government should give it to them. And they will vote for this president no matter what…These are people who pay no income tax."

My POINT is that he developed the blueprint for "dependency" on healthcare in his OWN state, as Governor. So, it seems rather disingenuous for him to even be making that type of statement about "entitlement."

He and Obama are a lot alike. It doesn't mean that Romney will lose. I think that if Romney were able to come clean with a clear plan on his policies, people may forget about this, redundant (lol), misstep. He just loses some time when time is of essence.

I wish people would focus more on his hand in the healthcare entitlement mess and not that he badly stated he couldn't worry about the votes he won't get. But, that is the narrative as people haven't really liked him and they want to paint a larger picture of Romney begin distant from the people.

It is a FACT that we have reached a point where right at 50% of Americaqns pay ZERO income tax. In fact some GET money from their tax return in the form of the "Earned Income Tax Credit".

It is very accurate to say that a large percentage of Americans will vote for Obama to keep the gravy train of Federal dollars flowing to themselves. I can't believe anybody would think Romney's statements were controversial. Just a bit frank for a politician.

• More than half of are working Americans who pay payroll taxes, meaning that they have jobs and provide money to the federal government.
  
• Half of the rest are elderly people who collect Social Security, which isn't taxed as income.
  
• Almost all of the rest are people who make less than $20,000 per year.
