My solution for voter ID problems

For those who can't afford to get a picture ID. When they come to vote take a digital picture of them with a fingerprint. Place on line their name and pick and fingerprint.

Have them get in a special line for processing so not to hold up the voters with proper ID's.

Run picture through system to be sure no one with that face OR fingerprint has already voted.

Of course that may take a little longer but stop voter fraud or at least minimize it.

But if the election is already rigged what does it matter?

voter fraud isn't a problem. w sought for years and only came up with a handful of cases. voter suppression is the real issue.

DM - just accept that this is one of the issues that the two sides will never agree on.
Both parties have vested interests in their positions.
And as for voter fraud, Cook county is a case study to prove that it does happen.

That is just nuts! We DO have voter fraud. Do you really think Mickey Mouse is eligible to vote?

Not a bad idea at all, Esther.

However, it takes money to set something like that up. I really don't think requiring an ID to vote is that big of a deal, but the policy needs to be phased in-- allowing folks who are already registered to vote to continue voting as they did before, enforcing the new ID requirements on all new voters.

I also believe that college and university identification cards should be sufficient.


There is a way to minimize the all-pervasive voter fraud problem without being reminiscent of the past or appearing to purposely target certain groups for political disenfranchisement.

In Texas you can get an ID for FREE!

But the event where Eric Holder said this was unfair, you couldn't get into that event without a PICTURE ID!

In Texas, can students use their official college/university picture ID cards as identification?

I don't think so, it requires BC and ML for women whose names are different than their BC OR another states valid license.
