some people have a recliner chair that they park themselves in. Alot of US have a computer chair that has conformed to the shape of our posterior. Me included.

I bought a new computer chair, not because the old one had a problem, but because I got shingles. The neuropathy (extreme nerve sensitivity from my hip to my foot) associated with it was irritated by how the arms were placed on the old chair. Since I didn't know how long the neuropathy was going to last and I need to sit in the chair to work, I bought a new chair without arms. Now my cat sleeps in the old chair.

You have my sympathy for those shingles. I've heard that they are HORRIBLE Are they better yet?
