I/Me/My Syndrome
Plain and simply put, when I saw this video I was left with disbelief since it reeks with the I/Me/My Syndrome...

I would welcome any thoughts or other examples...

Re: I/Me/My Syndrome
Very catchy tune... can't stand most of the words though.

Understandably, not all traditional Pentecostal peeps are victims of haughty arrogance like this. But, specifically, this just makes me sick and hope all the more some people will wake up and realize the message they're conveying is one of pride, selfishness, and division...

To the ORGANIZATION???? My dear brother, it has nothing to do with an organization!! I'm not even a member of the UPC, but I believe in it, I fellowship with it, and I'll stand and defend it!!

You are one confused brotha, let me tell ya...not a member, yet you "believe in it, fellowship with it, and I'll stand and defend it."
Okay, good for you. I won't dispute. In the meantime, for the rest of us that defend the Word for what it is, instead of what it is not and adding 10,000 commandments, we'll carry on in fellowship under the umbrella of grace and compassion as opposed to your umbrella of greed and condemnation...

Re: I/Me/My Syndrome
All I can say is wow...
I'd rather sing these songs.
There is a fountain filled with blood drawn from Emmanuel’s veins;
And sinners plunged beneath that flood lose all their guilty stains.
Lose all their guilty stains, lose all their guilty stains;
And sinners plunged beneath that flood lose all their guilty stains.
OR
Down at the cross where my Savior died,
Down where for cleansing from sin I cried,
There to my heart was the blood applied;
Glory to His Name!
These songs remind me how I did not merit God's grace, but while I was a sinner, He died for me. I belong to Christ (not an organization), washed in the precious blood the Lamb of God.
They sing "I'm a pentecostal, I'm not ashamed."
I sing "I'm a blood bought believer in Jesus Christ, I'm not ashamed."
Just my $0.02 FWIW
