Mark Barnaby has resigned his church? Left UPCI?

Reports from St. Louis are that Mark Barnaby who pastors the UPCI church on the same block as headquarters has resigned and/or turned in his license.

Can someone confirm?

Barnaby is currently married to Haney's niece.

If it doesn't interest you, just move right along

I, personally, think this is quite significant. Especialy with GC right around the corner.

Just as significant is the fact that many licensed ministers at the WEC attend this church on Dunn Road. They will have to leave as they must sit under a UPCI pastor according to regs.

If this is true, what is the reasoning behind this decision?

Aren't we surmising a lot?

What makes you think they will not install another UPC minister?

Do you know that the "Church" is leaving... or is this more about the pastor personally...?

From my understanding, his church is close to WEC but is by no means the primary church there. I would imagine that Graham and Tracy would be considered much much much more influential churches in the area. Proximity to the "Vatican" does not a Pope make.

Not as big of a story as some appear to think. Had the same pastor with the same people done the same thing elsewhere...nevermind.

Not true! Most attend The Sanctuary or New Life Center.
