Grassroots Pentecostals...

Was just visiting wedeclare.org, and read again the About Us page...one word, or two, depending on who's writing the info, jumped out at me...grassroots...

From wedeclare.org:

As grassroots UPCI members we hold fast the faith delivered into our hands.

We feel there are many grassroots members who have felt their voice is unheard.

What IS a 'grasseroots Pentecostal'?!

Please do not refer me to wedeclare.org for the answer...I mean, whe ARE the 'grassroots Pentecostals'?! Not looking for names, but an example of what it is.

Here is the definition I found online for grassroots...

Grassroots... those who hold to the "old paths" as they see them but don't want to have the regular labels attached. They don't want to be labeled UC or Mod or Lib, but have stuck to what they believe is the right way to go and are not deviating from their original stance over time. "Grassroots" is more down home and friendly sounding, perhaps.
