Police break up CLC prayer meeting

This is a few months old, sorry if it's been covered already, (but did attempt a search on this.)

"We did not wear uniforms. The lady workers dressed in the current fashions of the day, ...silks...satins...jewels or whatever they happened to possess. They were very smartly turned out, so that they made an impressive appearance on the streets where a large part of our work was conducted in the early years.

"It was not until long after, when former Holiness preachers had become part of us, that strict plainness of dress began to be taught.

"Although Entire Sanctification was preached at the beginning of the Movement, it was from a Wesleyan viewpoint, and had in it very little of the later Holiness Movement characteristics. Nothing was ever said about apparel, for everyone was so taken up with the Lord that mode of dress seemingly never occurred to any of us."

Probably not. Apostolics don't tip more than 10%; can't give a waitress more than they give God after all!

Wonder how the cops and the management handle Muslim prayers 5 times a day at Churches chicken?

Church's was owned by AFC Enterprises, along with Popeyes Chicken & Biscuits and ... end of 2004, when it was sold to Arcapita (formerly Crescent Capital Investments) ...
This is Muslim sharia banking and investments.

If that happens, how should they handle it?

How should the cops have handled the 2-hour, 60-kid shockamoo in the parking lot?

I assume this parking lot is private property. If so, it is simply whatever the owners or managers want.

I would likely have asked them to wrap it up myself, knowing my customer base is broader than the local Pentecostal church.

Well, do Muslims ever have shockamoo too? Never heard of it, but have heard of stampedes where folks get crushed due to poor crowd control. Maybe policemen of the future (in lieu of tazers) will sport a pork chop on their belts.

After two hours, how much shockamoo is left? If the police really broke up anything after two hours, no doubt it really was time to go, because the policeman was told "God's in charge."

That's wonderful. God can move anywhere.
