Imus was a Democrat!

Did you all know that? The guy with the mouth that cost him his job because he used racial terms often equal or tamer than stuff rappers use all the time? He was a democrat! lol

From what I READ, because I don't listen to folks like Imus, he was a dirty old man that got caught with his brain in neutral and his mouth in gear.

The same media that has created Sharpton and Jackson ... now will reap their reward .....

Imus was more on an independent moderate ... he voted both Republican and Democrat but was alway so proud of his MODERATE STANCE ... and that he hob-nobbed with the politicians of the day ... the same politicians ... who were very quiet during this ordeal ...

Play w/ fire ....
He's the poster child for why you need to take a position .... and not be a pragmatist.

Imus is playing off the cultural media.

But let's take a breath now and look around. Is the Sharpton & Jackson Circus truly committed to cleaning up cultural pollution that demeans women and perpetuates racial epithets? Have you seen the Billboard Hot Rap Tracks chart this week?

One dumb radio/television shock jock's insult is a drop in the ocean of barbaric filth and anti-female hatred on the radio.

Imus gets a two-week suspension. What kind of relief do we get from this deadening, coarsening, dehumanizing barrage from young, black rappers and their music industry enablers who have helped turn America into Tourette's Nation?

The Imus situation will force the black leaders to take a serious look at the language in gangsta rap. This is a good thing!

I caught some of that on CNN when I was in town today and I am glad they are finally addressing it more seriously.

They can't fault Imus, totally, when their own people called them more than what Imus did.

They were also saying that "white men" buy their videos and music more than the black folks. Not sure I believe that. I would guess it could be 50/50.

I doubt it. It will be business as usual. Nobody is going to say Chris Rock should lose his livelihood for saying "cracker". People have pointed out the double standard for years. They have pointed out the black rappers for years and the Political hacks like Sharpton and Jackson do nothing perhaps because there is no money in it
