Apology...

I need and would like to apologize to the board as a whole for my conduct that last few days.

It was not the 'Feminism' thread at fault...that just heightened the issue.

Carp asked me the other day if I had a raw nerve exposed and I guess I did. The cause for my attitude is something I am going to have to work out and sharing it here will not make it better, but I sincerely ask for your prayers.

So, to all whom I have offended and to those who have been surprised at my conduct...for my aburptness and unkind remarks, for my open questioning of admin, for my anger and general bad attitude, I apologize.

To admin...thank you for not banning me last night...I can assure you, my shame is punishment enough.

It is incredibly hard being a caretaker and loving someone who is hurting. But I know this for a fact. God certainly loved your mother when he gave her you.

This is precious to me, Newman...I cried when I frist read it and again today.

This is an interesting post...our focal point is heaven...that is our goal, but often our focus can become blurred by the cares or circumstances of life.

That is why I am striving minute by minute of each day to keep the main thing the main thing.

Other things, though important and possibly urgent, may cross my path and I am dealt the hand of dealing with them, but it can NEVER be at the cost of losing my focus.

Almighty God is my strength and fortress, and in His loving kindness has allowed people to come into my life who speak truth and peace and strength...I am blessed...

I was going to post one thank you for all, but decided to take each post and speak from my heart, if I may...

Renda, you are kind for saying the above, but I was deserving of banning, if not a beating for quite some time. I have been short tempered and irritable, and have taken it out on everyone.

So, thank you for accepting my apology...

A good friend has been advising me to get some needed rest (haven't been sleeping well for weeks) and to take care of me. I spend a lot of time seeing about people I care about and often neglect what is needed for my own spiritual upkeep.

Paul talked about the tragedy of winning souls and being all that others needed, yet ending up yourself a castaway.

Well, I am not a castaway by any means, but it is true that I have neglected the main thing.

So, for a time I'm going to do just that...see after Barb and finding that main thing again. It shouldn't be a hard find...I know right where I left it.

Awesome! If us ladies do one thing wrong in our lives it is we try to help, fix, do for, cater to, uplift, encourage others and let ourselves run down.
