My lovely dog has died
I was sitting on the back steps petting him. He was licking my face then he fell back in my arms. I thought he was playing. He kept falling and I got out from under him.
Did someone poison him? Would he die that suddenly from poison?
My husband is digging his grave right now. I don't want to go outside.

PO he probably either had a stroke or a tumor in his brain. ( I work for a vet, and we've had a lot of those things happen this year and that's usually his diagnosis.
I'm so sorry. I hate to get attached to dogs and then lose them or they move on, and I always say "I HATE DOGS" and they all know I'm lying. (I actually love dogs, but hate to get attached.
Keep your chin up.

I guess that's what happened. You know I didn't actually think something was wrong with him, but when he would come in the house he would lay on the floor right away. I thought his dog training had helped him calm down, but now I'm wondering.
Thank you explaining this.

Re: My lovely dog has died
I am so sorry. I doubt he was poisoned, I think he would have had intestinal problems like passing blood or vomiting if he had been poisoned. Sounds like a heart attack.
