Acts 2:38

This is an "Apostolic Forum". The premise is that ALL believe the basic doctrine of
1. Repentance
2. Baptism in the Name of Jesus Christ(Not FSHG).
3. Infilling of the Holy Ghost with the EVIDENCE of speaking with other tongues.

IF YOU DO NOT BELIEVE THE ABOVE, YOU ARE NOT APOSTOLIC AND WILL NOT GO TO HEAVEN. To argue this on an apostolic forum is ASININE. The only ones that would argue against this ARE NOT APOSTOLIC which means THEY ARE NOT CHRISTIAN. This is truth. This is the gospel truth. There is no way around it and any other gospel is done by thieves.

I know some are going to take me to task for this but I say

The basic and fundamental doctrine of this organization shall be the Bible standard of full salvation, which is repentance, baptism in water by immersion in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, and the baptism of the Holy Ghost with the initial sign of speaking with other tongues as the Spirit gives utterance.

We shall endeavor to keep the unity of the Spirit until we all come into the unity of the faith, at the same time admonishing all brethren that they shall not contend for their different views to the disunity of the body.

You left out the 1973 statement 5 words added after .... in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ, "For the remission of sins".

I prefer the "original" version instead of the revised version.

Amen! Everything else is an innovation and takes away from our Apostolic heritage.

Those who want to tear down our Apostolic heritage have carried their personal attacks to the point of rending the body of Christ. They have added the 1973 clause to the Fundamental Doctrine that W.T. Witherspoon typed up back in 1945. They added the 1977 television ministry resolution and then they added the terrible 1992 Affirmation Statement.

Why aren't these people satisfied with the saving Gospel of Jesus Christ? Why must they continually add their own man-made doctrines and mean spirited resolutions?
