How many folks have left and are scared to death to return to any relationship with God. How many have gone insane under the influence of the fear generated by defining God as a monster. You made some very good points. I find it very concerning to hear people justify or even seek out ways to be harsh to people.

Laurel, MS and Verbal Bean were rare ministerial exceptions and for whatever reason God used him mightily.

But he is not the proto-type Apostolic Minister in my opinion.

Stick with the main and plain, and you never go wrong.

Looking over scripture, I dont find too many Prophets that were really chummy with the average joe. most seemed to be kind of hated.

But I do completely agree with you about VB and Laural MS. I listened to the sermon and may do so again.... but I felt like I was peeking into a room where a dad was giving his kid a good sound thrashing.

I will not suggest at all that this was out of line. I do think these are and should be rare.
