Deseret, keep on keeping on! That is the best advice I can give up. It is when the pressure against the message is high that Jesus moves mightily and astoundingly.

They may not like your attitude, but then again, they probably will not like the Lord's either when the continue in their secularistic ways and stand before His throne. Oh no, they will definitely not like His 'attitude'. So, keep on!

Oh please! Spare us. Anyone that considers it appropriate to refer to people that have differing views as "you people" and "your kind" needs to check their attitude. The spirit with which it was said, and the corresponding comments, stinks. If this is the attitude you want to align yourself with then you still have a long way to go, BP, and need to grow up.

Rico, please, spare you? Spare me! Let someone, anyone, come on this forum and begin speaking about the necessity of standards, and suddenly you and others attack and belittle. You speak of Deseret's attitude. This is coming from someone who shows just as bad an attitude at times towards conservatives.

Keep on, Deseret! Holiness is still right!

You need to get your facts straight. The people I speak against are people who think they have the right to control others by legislating standards from the pulpit and people who have shown the same attitude D has in this thread. I have no problem whatsoever with people having convictions and I have said that repeatedly.

Rico, I think because of the spiritual condition you are in, I will just pray for you. Any man who will not submit to a pastor needs more than any post on a forum can give. I will sincerely pray you are delivered from this pit of dangerous and damnable practices.

The spiritual condition I am in? If you weren't so pathetic this would almost be funny. Save your prayers. I am not interested in anything you have, least of all contacting you in Houston. Try praying for yourself.

Jesus said:
"A new commandment I give unto you, that you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another. By this all will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another." John 13;34-35

An attitude of exclusion where brothers and sisters are sneeringly referred to as "you people" and "your kind" doesn't sound like that love Jesus was speaking about. He was known as a "friend of sinners" and He attracted those who know that they needed Him. The folks back then that hated Jesus were the ones who placed so much emphasis on the "outward" and "the man-made rituals" and emphasized their separation and holiness.
