BTW, I think I'm doing just fine without Shaw's Laws.

It wasn't his laws. He had a handout to go over how he deals with each of these things in his life. You should listen to what he had to say before you pass judgment on him. Just sayin'

What are you talking about?

Neither of my last two posts were "passing judgment" on Rodney Shaw. If you think they were, please explain.

(Oh... and "just sayin'" went out of style with 2010

I thought it was passing judgment on him when you called his questions "his laws". It was simply questions on a handout. He went over them and explained every point and how he evaluates these things in his life.

I was being facetious (Shaw's Laws - Hello!?)-- and the context of my note was that I felt quite comfortable with my current position on the subject of entertainment.

But we've had other FB Pastors pass out their "laws" -- even naming them that!

Okay, I couldn't tell you were being facetious. Anyway, if you have a little time, Part 2 talks about a lot of practical issues with the Internet, etc., and I thought it was very good.

I might excerpt a few of his points later. But, then I might not.
