Also, there are some preachers that will not allow you to minister in their pulpits if you do not follow the same belief as they do. For the sake of unity, I am willing to toe the line in this respect. I feel unity is more important than any preference that I may have.

At our church married people are expected to wear wedding rings. Would you put yours on so as not to offend us (assuming you were to come here) or is it a one way street?

I was expecting the denial committee to step forth on this and they have with bells ringing and banners waving. well, I still stand by what I've seen and heard in Pentecost. Woman want to show off the Ring. they want to talk about this Ring and make over it etc etc. most women want a big Rock, one that out shines the next girl's Ring. I am Right about it

I agree that MOST would probably prefer to wear one. But I do not agree that most want the big rock. I know alot of ladies that prefer simple rings to gawdy stuff.
But then again, maybe that comes from wanting what is off-limits. Because I can and choose to wear rings, a "rock" is not an issue with me.

I started to do that. But I had my original set (engagement ring and wedding band) and I also had an anniversary band that I got for my 15th. So I gave each of my girls one of them.
