I think their robes were different than a bathrobe. I think they wrapped the stuff so it wouldn't be revealed.. didn't they wear like 50 pounds of clothes!!

Their robes were a one-piece dress-like garment. It went well below the knees as well, but as for underclothing, they didn't wear any. It was considered uncomfortable, and besides, it would make for longer lines at the gates of the city........LOL!

I'll be honest I wear a simple wedding band and my wife wears a anniversary band.Of course she doesn't wear any other jewelery other than a watch.
I occasionaly wear cuff-links ,of course I respect those who are more CON who don't wear wedding bands.

The discussion of jewelry wasn't exactly what I had in mind when I started this thread. I really wanted to know why Apostolic preachers differ in thier view of "WEDDING RINGS". I thank each and everyone of you for taking my thread and running with it though.
