History of Wedding rings ... here
You argue but your source says the same thing. I did NOT say they originated with the Catholic church I said it was where WE got it from. The Romans were already doing it.

I have no argument that Abraham sent jewels for Rebecca.
Somes things were permitted in the OT that are not permitted in the NT such as:
Polygamy
Vengence
Divorce
Jewelry
for example.
However when Isreal had seasons of revival they took off their jewelry and jewelry and idolatry are associated together many times in the OT.

It is either wrong for a person to wear an earring, bracelet, necklace, or watch AND a wedding band. OR it's OK for a wedding band, earring, bracelet, necklace or watch. A ring is a ring whether it's through on your finger, in your nose or in your ear!!! I know this is not a popular view, but after all I am the FRINGE_NUTTER.
True ONLY onion rings are enjoyed by true Apostolics.

A RING IS A RING - whether there is a piercing and placed in the skin or on the skin.

God doesn't change. He said several times that he decorates His people with jewelry, correct? Many times, He speaks of the future in applying those jewels.

And Israel also took off their jewelry during times of idolatry as well. How else could they make a golden calf?

Nope! You are wrong! Rings are worn on fingers and sometimes toes! Ear "rings" are not always rings. Sometimes they are 'studs.' I don't think it is appropriate to pierce the body!!

What about those who already have the piercings pre-salvation? Is it ok to wear them then?
