This is disappointing....I was hoping they would be different than the "sow a seed, make a covenant with us and be blessed" crowed. Giving has been turned from something you do for God and someone else to something you do for yourself. It's ego centric and based on the American ideal of what YOU can get out of it rather than what YOU can give to it. Enticement is selfish based, not giving based. This is what is wrong with American Christianity IMO...

Getting more viewers or more people attending a church is NOT true success. It's not HIS kingdom at work it's man's kingdom at work. It's McDonalds Christianity.

That's my problem to begin with...it's not about giving, it's about what YOU can get out of it. I think this sort of thing puts the wrong idea in the church with the wrong motives for giving.
