Re: Letter from Bro. Chester Wright to Bro. Haney
Some of you folks are so accustomed to taking potshots at Apostolic preachers that you are desensitized.
It is such a way of life for you that you have no concept of how it feels to those who have a little more respect.
I am about to transition back into "Occasional Lurker Mode" because I can see where this is heading, and the gulf between me and the prevailing mindset here is just too broad for me to bridge for the most part.
It didn't used to be, but it is now.

Think whatever you like.
Actually, more like too many targets. It's like playing whack-a-mole.
A wate of time, and an unnecessary annoyance.

Re: Letter from Bro. Chester Wright to Bro. Haney
In Bro Wright's letter to Bro. Haney, nowhere did I see where he gave permission for this letter to be made public.
Bro Wright had every right to express his opinion to his GS. I agree with almost everything he said.
Someone seems to have overstepped his bounds, and should be held accountable for it, in my opinion.

Again, in both of your examples, no one said that CW is a bad man. Indy's comment was out of line, but US's comment was very generic, in that it dealt with what his response to ANYONE who did that would be, were he in charge.
The flip side of the coin to people taking "potshots" at Apostolic preachers is that anytime anyone questions the motives of an Apostolic preacher at all, to some of you folks, it's like committing heresy.
Which, by default, when you cannot question your leadership, you're in a cult - plain and simple.

Exhibit A for the prosecution. Very respectful.

Sounds like "double-talk". I looked at the afore-mentioned websites and did not see anything like Chester Wright purported.

Exhibit B for the prosecution. Respectfully holding CW's feet to the fire, as the accuser.

What, are we supposed to moan and cry and wail because you threaten (for the umpteenth time) to take your toys and go home?
Call the wah-mbulance, Dude.
Funny how you are desensitized enough to take potshots at Johnston, and that's justifiable - in your eyes. Funny how Chester Wright was last year's whipping boy only to become the darling of the radical right in 2008.
Who is next, Amos?
Who can we destroy next?
Whose character can we impugn next?
It's revolting.

Re: Letter from Bro. Chester Wright to Bro. Haney
Btw, I think Johnston and Wright are awesome.
And, I also think posting this letter was wrong.
Many members of AFF (including myself) had this letter for weeks and refused to post it. Ironically, an ultracon from the Western District decided to post it.
I wonder what he hoped to gain from it?
