be careful, comments like this will get the conservatives around here discouraged that the apostolic movement is falling apart.

LOL!!! Naw, they don't consider me part of the "Apostolic movement" since I don't condemn trinitarians to hell, believe trinitarians are polytheistic, nor do I shockamoo.

"We did not wear uniforms. The lady workers dressed in the current fashions of the day, ...silks...satins...jewels or whatever they happened to possess. They were very smartly turned out, so that they made an impressive appearance on the streets where a large part of our work was conducted in the early years.
"It was not until long after, when former Holiness preachers had become part of us, that strict plainness of dress began to be taught.
"Although Entire Sanctification was preached at the beginning of the Movement, it was from a Wesleyan viewpoint, and had in it very little of the later Holiness Movement characteristics. Nothing was ever said about apparel, for everyone was so taken up with the Lord that mode of dress seemingly never occurred to any of us."

Re: Letter from Bro. Chester Wright to Bro. Haney
Just to make the passage clear:
Jn. 3:3 the subject is "Except a man be born AGAIN"
Nicodemus understood "the SECOND time into his mother's womb"
I say unto THEE, except a man be born of water(NOT THE water thus the natural birth) He is telling Nicodemus how to be born AGAIN from verse 3!!!
The natural birth consist of blood-water-spirit 1Jn.5:8.
Is there a passage in the OT or NT where the natural birth is referred as being born of water????????????????????????????????????? That is the referenced needed.
Nicodemus is asking about the statement made in verse 3 not how he got here.
Back to verse 5 note the difference born of water and of THE Spirit. The article THE determines the birth is only accomplished by THE Spirit an absolute ONE! However born of water gives no distinction thus any water will do. NO the before water. As long as their is enough water to bury you any water will do in Jesus Name.
And then to reinforce what He has said v. 7 ye MUST be born again!!!
How? Of water and THE Spirit.

I grew up in the UPC. When God began to deal with me about the false doctrine that was taught I separated my self from it. The things that I post are the truth. I do not lie.
Even though I was not talking about the Yadons I have spent time with them and know what they believed.
At a funeral of a Catholic woman Yadon preached her in to heaven. We confronted him after the service in private and ask him what was going on. This woman never wanted nothing to do with the truth yet Yadon said "as for her salvation she was ok" He got very angry at us for asking.
I don't understand the men in the UPC that believe it takes all of Acts 2:38 to be save, yet they worship and yoke them self to those that believe one is saved at repentance. You can't even get them to respond when asked about it.
They might as well join the Trinity bunch.
When you speak out against this false doctrine and tell thing that happened and things that you know first hand you are called names and slandered.
I Recently had a couple come to church who have been UPC all their life. The woman told one of the men in the church that was seeking the Holy Ghost that he didn't need it, he was ok as long as he had repented.
Their parents were taught by Urshan who believed the same.

The only source when it comes to born again salvation is the word of God and not organizations and not people no matter what position they hold, nor how many followers they claim.

Re: Letter from Bro. Chester Wright to Bro. Haney
I think sometimes we need to lighten up in our speech with one another. I have been reading several posts on different subjects. I know most of us differ on any given subject but we do not have to insult each other. We can discuss why we differ in kinder words.
I am not shocked but REAL followers of Jesus are kind even to those they differ with. I feel sorry for those that are poor in spirit. Someone was talking to me this week about a certain thing and asked me how I felt about a certain group of people my answer was I feel sorry for them.
There are many things we do that even we may not agree with our own self...such as the other day at the hospital I rubbed that girl down with water. I don´t agree with that and explained that to her and her mother but I was kind and did it however both there and here I mentioned I don´t agree with it at all...Anyone that knows me KNOWS I believe in ducking!
It may not have done any good except help her fever come down however I was kind and not rude and prayed and committed her into the hands of a God that is merciful...far more than me...
Many times in my life I have seen things and been places where I did not agree but silence does not always mean we disagree sometimes it is wisdom and we are able to help people more than if at an emotional impluse we say hasty words...
