Where I came from we were "
Pentecostal". The "apostolics" were a small group of Pentecostals in our region who wore hats were ultra conservative and didn't fellowship with the rest of us "Pentecostals" (UPCI) for the most part because we were considered worldly. For that reason we avoided and never used "apostolic" to define ourselves.
I think that how you're labeled often depends on geographical and regional location. It certainly was/is that way where I come from.
