She is always writing and loves politics so...I let her begin posting for the rest of you. Yes some of it is the thinking of a 12 year old but her dad enjoys it.

Wow!!! Well said! I get really weary of people, especially those on the Christian side of the fence, constantly destroying Obama. But leave it to a 12-year-old to figure these things out! Way to go!!

The funny part is she is reading left wing blogs for her material. It certainly weakens the Conservative position when they unfairly criticize.
The most important thing I want her to learn is to think. She went through the latest SCOTUS decision with me, at her request, because she disagreed with the conservative majority, which Stevens joined. Granted she didn't understand several of the points of law but she didn't just see that Roberts wrote the decision and say, "yep it must be right."

That's great!! I've never cared for it when the "talking heads" automatically take the "conservative position" on everything. For me, they have no credibility. But I'll listen to people who are willing to examine each issue and do the right thing on that isolated issue without, first, finding out what they're supposed to think. For a lot of other reasons, I think you're a really sharp guy, but it's obvious here that you and your wife are raising a really sharp girl! And...I'll always highly respect your son for baiting you into an argument here on AFF!! Classic!!
