Christian Egyptians

This is so heartbreaking! Please Please keep the Egyptian Christians in your prayers... they are being tortured and persecuted by wicked men and not many know about it. The ones that do just turn away and pretend not to see. They are sooo oppressed right now. Please pray the Lord would send His healing balm to their families.

Yes, amen. We have NO idea what other people are dealing with in countries around the world, who don't enjoy the basic freedoms we Americans do.

Re: Christian Egyptians

I have actually been praying for the persecuted christians across the world.

Today i read about the "coptic" christians and it left me wondering. They believe salvation comes from God (by giving his begotten Son to shed His precious blood for us) and from man by his good works, partaking of sacraments e.t.c. (more like the catholic beliefs).

I dont know if i should pray for them to come to the realization that salvation is a FREE gift that comes by faith thru Christ AND works comes as a result of the faith (not the other way round) or for their persecution to easen in general. I'm just being honest. Anyways i commit the issue into God's hands and He knows what's best. They are His children. God bless

Amen, Amen! Father, protect them all! Deliver your children once again from Egyptian bondage.

Re: Christian Egyptians

Coptic Christian girls are kidnapped, raped and forced to convert to "Islam" then married off to some Muslim man. The authorities do nothing there. That was before the Muslim Brotherhood took over. Now it is getting worse. The Muslim Brotherhood is a extremist group and has ties to the White House.

Re: Christian Egyptians

I grew up in Alexandria in the early 70's. There were quite a number of Coptic Christians there, though there were more in communities just south of Cairo.

Last year I took a cab from Downtown Fort Worth to DFW and my driver was one of those Coptic Egyptians and we were able to talk long about the persecutions. It is a shame what people do to each other in the name of their "god."

“North Korea is known to have somewhere between 50,000 to 70,000 Christians in forced labor camps. And they’re there for doing nothing except trying to worship the Lord,”

And the Palestinians. So many countries where Christians are persecuted.
