OMG!! She had a confrontation with her MIL today! Totally went off on her! YIKES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Welllll, the MIL stops by the house and says to her son, "Have you called your grandmother? She and your grandfather don't think you love them anymore?"
Then my daughter waylaid her!
"I am so sick of the drama, especially while I am pregnant! She had no business calling my mother. It was none of her business how much money my mother wanted to spend. She told me that if I didn't get everything I needed at the shower, she would get it for me, so money wasn't the issue. She didn't want to have a hick shower!!! She isn't mad, but is very hurt. All she heard was complaining. She just wanted everyone to have a nice time!"
She runs to her room and is crying. MIL starts crying, "Don't upset the baby. I'm sorry! I've never seen anyone throw a shower like that, etc., etc. We never spend that much........"
The MIL said she would call me. Waiting on that. LOL!
Everything is going to be fine. Glad she got that off her chest. LOL!
