We are a nation of freedom. The religious attire here conflicts with the general welfare and safety of others, in an age of security concerns. Politically, I can understand Belgium's concerns (particularly in light of Mark Steyn's commentary). However, it's quite unfortunate that it will insult and demean an entire people and their faith (even though it is a false religion -- not really the point).
