I'm telling you (and this might sound crass and un-Christlike to some), but I would make it abundantly clear to anyone who has a pit bull around me that in the event that that dog attacks my son, shooting the dog is a given...I would most likely shoot the owner as well. I think it is a travesty that people are allowed to bring that potential for fatal attacks into countless neighborhoods and not be held accountable to the degree they should.
