Really, since we're presently in the church economy/age, this has little application to our present day topic. Not that it matters, since NOTHING is ever said about her being a "preacher"???

Yea', I'm really the "only one who believes that I Cor. 11 refers to Man & Woman......obviously the apostle Paul thought the same thing, since he wrote it!

Sheesh, it's even worse than I previously thought!
Let me trying helping on this one too: Deborah was a judge during the third apostasy (falling away from God). This is a time when Israel intermarried with other tribes, turned to pagan practices, and is in the context of a book filled with horrific tails of evil, and what happens when there is no godly leadership.

God tells Deborah to prophesy to her general of Israel's victory. None of thee women worked independently, like an Elijah or Elisha would have. Miriam, Ex 15:20; Huldah, 2 Ki 22:14-20 are other examples of prophetesses.

It seems God's use of Deborah is certainly unique, and instead of the others throwing her name out there as an "explain this," they must reconcile Jewish history concerning the role of women, as well as 3 very explicit (and sometimes details) instructions from Paul concerning women's role in worship. In the end, many agree women are to be used in the spiritual body, gifted and to participate. But how that fleshes itself out in proper order, is the real debate.
