Re: Sorry I have a headache- a good thing?
Quick Version:
Women with lower estrogen levels are more likely to suffer from migraines during menstruation. Women who have lower estrogen levels have a reduced risk for certain breast cancers. Ergo, women who have hormone induced migraines probably have lower estrogen levels, and are less likely to get some breast cancers.
P.S. Migraines are nothing to sneeze at. I've only had two "major league" headaches, with the nausea, etc., and I don't know how women who suffer from them on a regular basis handle it! The kind of headache that is so bad, your head is actually "sore" the next day, even after the headache is long gone. I'm no whiner, but those buggers will put me straight to bed faster than the flu.
