Do you and yours give the pledge or are you like a Jehovah's Witness who refuses?
"I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America, and to the republic for which it stands, one nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all."
We do around here and at every church that I have attended. I take that pledge and this country seriously. Enjoy your time being in the world and not of it.
People with anti-american views are not welcome to share the pulpit I use.

Forty years ago we (oneness pentecost) held ourselves at a "safe distance" from the world. Do we now embrace what was "worldliness" then? Are we simply trying to maintain a distance from popular society? Are we then guilty of " trickledown" immorality?
