I agree with MOW changed lives is what is important. Heck if something like this happened in the OP church other churches would stand back and point fingers trying to find the fault in it.

For years the OP church has been claiming revival is coming and saying things like, 'It's coming, it's coming, it's coming' and the crowds go wild. But the moment things like this goes on we put the brakes on and speak out against it. I don't agree with everything going on there, but it seems that God is changing people, healing, raising up people and sidline sitters yell out against it. I believe as the body of Christ we are missing what He is doing. Think about it. In that FL revival people who don't look like us are going nuts and acting wacky for Jesus, but let me ask you, what was pentecost? It was people that didn't look that the religious of that day going nuts and going wacky for Jesus. To beat it all pentecost has become our sugar stick. God does NOT always move the same way and same places He always has.
JT, If going nuts and "wacky" for Jesus is criteria for "revival" then great. Bentely has the market cornered on that. I actually saw people holding Winnie the phooh bears in his crowd.

But, I think you have to judge it by a little more strict critera. Not even by miracles or healings.

1. What is being preached? Does Bentely preach the gospel of repentance? Even confess-with-your-mouth and believe-in-your-heart Baptist salvation.

2. Does he preach to turn from sin and righteous living?

3. Is he lifting up and bringing glory to Christ.

But I do agree with you on one point. When God does move in a real revival I am certain it will be outside denom walls. The move of God has always been outside from the day of Pentecost on. I just don't think this has anything to do with God.
