4/7/1909 (Californian, Salinas, p. 3) News from Pleyto, Ca. Two young preachers Revs. Robert and Elmer Hammond (brothers) have been holding religious services at Mr. Ford's place and also at Shiloh church the past week. They are of the Apostolic faith.

4/13/1912 (Stockton Daily Evening Record, p. 16) The funeral of Guy F Harrison waa hold Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the funeral partora of R C Wallace. Rev Robert Hammond of the Pentecostal Mission officiated and sacred selections were sung by Mrs M K Mercer Mrs Robert Hammond and Mr Otto Michael. The pall bearers were Otto Michael L P Haney Frank Ulrey and Jesse Hayford Interment was In Rural cemetery.

Hammond and Ivan Johnson, revivalists representing the Pentecostal Missions, have arrived in this city to conduct a series of Pentecostal meetings and they have pitched a large tent with a seating capacity of two hundred at Hills Flat. Meetings will be held every night except Monday night... They state that the full gospel wall be preached and prophecy unfolded in the light of the Holy Scriptures. Everybody is invited to attend the services. Among the topics to be taken up is "Is the world Getting . Better and Is This the Iast War? There will be no admission charge.

Voter registration for Santa Cruz 1900-1922 has Robert Gilbert Hammond in Santa Cruz. At the time, he was 21 years old and a farmer. Henry Otis Hammond also lived in Santa Cruz and was a 51 year old farmer.

9/16/1934 (Santa Cruz Even. News.p.8) Hammond conducted a mission in Boise for the summer. Now he is speaker at the Rescue Mission in Santa Cruz. Both Mr. and Mrs. W. E. Nigh will speak at a revival at the same mission.

CALDWELL — The Rev. Robert Gilbert Hammond, 82, of 315 Seventh Ave. S., Nampa, a retired Full Gospel Church minister, died Thursday night at his home.
The Rev. Mr. Hammond was born Sept. 6, 1885, in San Francisco, and attended grade school in Santa Cruz, Calif. He attended a seminary at Pacific Grove, Calif., and began his ministry in 1907. He held pastorates in California, Oregon, Washington and Idaho, as well as other parts of the United States and Canada, for 60 years. His last charge was the First Full Gospel Church in Caldwell.
He was married Dec. 31, 1935, at Santa Cruz to Lottie Bell. He was preceded in death by two sons, Irving Hammond, in 1937, and Eugene Hammond, who was killed in Korea in 1950.
He was a member of the First Full Gospel Church at Caldwell and the International Ministerial Association.
Surviving in addition to Mrs. Hammond are six sons, Morse E. Hammond of Arnold, Calif., Tracy O. Hammond of Bryan, Ohio, Louis W. Hammond of San Lorenzo, Calif., Wesley Larson and Norton Larson, both in Washington, and Alfred Glen Larson, Boise; two daughters, Earlene Essex of El Centro, Calif., and Betty Jean Atkison of Indio, Calif.; two brothers, Walter Hammond of Santa Cruz and Tracy Hammond of Felton, Calif.; a sister, Mrs. Corabelle Small, Vancouver, B.C., 31 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Services will be conducted at the First Full Gospel Church at 2:30 p.m. Monday by the Rev. Everett Roberts, Meridian, and the Rev. Russell King of Bailey. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens under direction of Peckham-Dakan Chapel.
