Should a christiian make/sale items that promote
What are your thoughts? Should a christian make and or sell items that may promote alcohol/smoking or any form of sinful habits?
I do graphic design on the side and because my company is me and I am the creator of any images I sell or promote, me personally, I would not take a custom order from a customer who would want graphic or images on it that I don't stand for.
However, at the same time if I work at grocery store for example and a customer comes to my line with a case of beer, I would ring them up and take their money. Because they are not buying from me they are buying from the company. If this makes any sense This is a very touchy and confusing area and I just want to have some clarity on it. The reason I am asking is because my daughter also does graphic design on the side and also prints her images on products for sale and takes custom orders. She is extremely new at all this and even still a baby in Christ. But she does take custom orders and it does not matter what the image is. For instance she just recently designed a Budweiser cup for someone's husband. I don't know how to direct her spiritually with this but I want to help because in my heart I feel it's wrong.
But are my feelings invalid or wrong in itself? This is why I wanted your guys input because I just don't know where to stand. Honestly I don't want to be overbearing about things that don't matter but yet I don't want to blindly ignore something that could cause her to get into something that could affect her in a negative way. So if anyone could please offer their advice I really appreciate it.
