Re: Who was Harry Morse ?
Quote from a doctoral dissertation;
The early Pentecostal pioneers (1906-1936) in northern California represented polyglot and cosmopolitan cohorts of preachers. These pioneering preachers often emerged from a Wesleyan ministerial background and concertedly supported missions globally and/or trained women and men to launch new missions to California’s many language groups. These earlier preachers preceded the Okies and largely hailed from the Upper Midwest and abroad. Notably, they did not bear the outsider stigma that Okies bore and were praised for their global visionary missions.
