Re: Who was Harry Morse ?
In am effort to find more early data, I am surveying the history of the Apostolic Faith Mission in Hawaii. The first article I have about Harry Morse in Oakland was from 1920 where a connection is made between Hawaii and Morse in Oakland.
One interesting person is Charles and Mrs. Lochbaum. They are from California. They went to Honolulu in 1923 to start the Apostolic Faith Church. They are independent. She preaches. He is the pastor.
Other than A.O. Moore, there are no other speakers at the church. But they seem to be Oneness.
So far, I have not been able to connect Oscar Vouga, Morse graduate, with this Lochbaum guy. Vouga attended a different church in Honolulu, the Christian Church.
The Honolulu Apostolic Faith Mission started in 1906 does not seem to be a going concern when Lochbaum arrived in 1923.
