And we can be hard on pastors, sometimes too hard. But ultimately they are responsible for any fallout of their words. I know a pastor who actually told a terrified woman fearing for her life that she couldn't leave her abusive husband, and that if she'd just submit to Jesus, and be an ideal wife, God would move in her home. Her husband killed her not even a week later. If I were her family, I'd have sued the daylights out of that pastor, and the church, and even the district for licensing him, if I could. The man was clearly so Bible minded he's of no value in the real world.

That's at least a start. What's her name? Where and when was she killed? I look up the police report. Also the trial of her husband.
