I lean toward the conservative side. The only difference is I don't let people indoctrinate me to live be their personal convictions.

I remember at one time I began wearing long sleeves all the time. I thought to myself, dang, it's hard to play basketball and bowl. I went back to my old sleeve length, right at the elbow. If someone thinks that elbow length is immodest, they need to eat cow patties until they see the light.

Truly Your Eminence,
Brainwashed

First of all, you must know nothing at all of what the WPF believes or stands for. The 'white shirt' only mandate hit the highway with the founding father's SIL at the helm of their assembly.

And respectfully, the view from my house, whatever a local pastor's conviction is remains their business. When I was a part of the Church Of Our Lord Jesus Christ, my pastor wore only white shirts, even in the factory where he worked, and the COOLJC is FAR from conservative.

For the record, the WPF are not exclusively untra con...in other words, as for other elders in the org, some do and some don't, but I don't think white shirts is a deal.

Secondly, re sleeve length, when the founding father of the org was MY pastor, his conviction was, "The last breaking point on the arm is the elbow, and on the leg, the knee." I can't EVER recall sing him in long sleeves working on the new building or playing softball.
