Mary Lou Myrick attended Southeast Missouri State University from 1947-1949. She earned the Bachelor of Theology degree from Apostolic College in 1957 and the Bachelor of Arts from the University of the Pacific in 1967 with a double major in English and Greek. She received her ordination to the ministry in 1958. In 1975 she earned the Master of Arts degree in Language Arts (Master of English and literature and history of language) from the University of the Pacific. After completing further graduate study, she was awarded a California Secondary Teaching Certificate (Grades 7-12), a California Postsecondary Instructor’s Certificate (with competency in English, Koine Greek, Literature, Psychology, and Education) and California Postsecondary Administrator’s Certificate (with competency in Library and Religious Studies) in 1985. She has served in various positions at Christian Life College since 1957. In addition to her many years of service as an instructor at Christian Life College, Rev. Myrick has been a PASTOR, a teacher in both public and Christian schools, and a college librarian.
