Why ?? The NT does not say.

Junias, or Junia with Andronicus (name means warrior man) were noted, or known among the Apostles, the couple could of been like Aquila and Priscilla, if indeed the name is feminine. Yet, even if the name is masculine Junias, with Andronicus, Andronicus with Junias were just known to the Apostle, or esteemed among the twelve. To attribute a woman as being a "notable" apostle is really a pig in a poke, because you find this supposed female apostle mentioned absolutely nowhere else other than this vague verse in
Romans 16:7. The Apostle is telling the Romans, one, the couple be them both males, or male and female were fellow Judeans freeborn Romans, also could of been of the tribe of Benjamin. What is a major point here and must be considered, is that the couple were part of the church before Paul. Yet, if Junias is Junia, and was part of the original 12, then as
Luke 8:3 points out Junia would of just supported the ministry of Jesus and his apostles. Still, there is no proof anywhere in the Bible for females leading men in ministry.
Peter's wife?
Maybe he didn't take her to his Bible studies?
