I said this a few times, but like the point I made I think you'll see something interesting about this and most forums. I came to the internet way back in the early 90's to fellowship believers. And the things I like to chat about the most are the works of the cross and enhancing that understanding to see more effective work of God done through me. Meanwhile someone asked about prophecy, and I said my bit. Wow. Controversy! Then the flurry of discussions started. I'd try to get back to the other issues, but no interest. Meanwhile I kept getting questions so I'd answer them. Just mainly answering questions. And controversy was the only thing that seemed to do anything here. Still, though, tried the cross issues, and again only a small response.

In fact my sermons are all about spiritual growth and applying the cross to our lives. All of them. By appearances here folks would think I preach nothing but prophecy.

So it became evident people usually want controversy.

Let me clarify my point. I do not want everyone to agree with me. In fact I want agreement so I can delve more into the spiritual maturity element. Someone who has an angle on the word that would help that.

But when I saw people simply say Abraham was a maniac who "thought" God wanted him to kill his son, like abortionist-killers think they're on a mission from God to kill, if that's in a debate section or not, I'd ban the dude.

Disagree with apostolic doctrine in a debate room? Fine. But trashing Bible and the God of the bible? No way. So, no, it's not agreement I demand everywhere.
