Try this one on, if you are implying only the Word is in authority. It is the Word that gives men authority, men like Paul...

It is the Bible that forbids a woman to usurp authority...
1Tim 2:12.. ..But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence.
A woman could not both obey
Titus 2:15 (obviously injunctions to the ministry was not written to women) and
