He's walking us through one set of fulfillments after another. That passage is one of the scriptures I've read that did not fit with what was being taught over the pulpit.
I used to feel guilty for "doubting" what was being taught in UPC pulpits, but I am considered to be a renegade by them anyway.
I search for what makes sense to me.
