Just a point of clarification.......the UPCI has had a rule for many many years that one CANNOT be a member in two credential issuing organizations. That is one reason the WPF said they would not issue any license. (which they still do not, (with the exception of in foreign countries where a minister is not recognized without a "national" affiliation) it's up to the local church to license ministers.) However the UPCI General Board and their attorneys felt that the WPF still met the definition of an organization and officially ruled that no UPCI minister could hold dual membership; with the individual districts to enforce (or not) as they saw fit.
This same rule was used by the UPCI at the formation of the AWCF to stop ministers from joining and fellowshipping. The UPCI threatened to bring formal charges against any minister who joined etc.
