Re: A Sense of Dread
Trial and affliction can bring about a sense of doom. Many in this Country and around the World have been financially challenged.
During the Great Depression (Pun is intended), our World hurled into a very foreboding state of mind.
When you add in the tension of the Middle East and other crisis’ of the World, we ALL feel a sense of helplessness.
I personally feel, this is an excellent time to draw nigh to God. When a bank account runs dry, or the things of this World are lost, our trust can move to a higher ground with the Master of all ages.
I’m watching birds in my back yard right now, and the Scripture comes to mind; Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they?
