That said, AFF is a place people can go to weigh out those questions, even if it doesn't become their life 24/7. And the ideal is to have a few voices these can interact with. I think AFF is about 80% lurkers (admin can confirm), and that's probably who gets the most value from the interactions.
Sabbaticals. Breaks. Stepping away. Small doses. Do what you have to. Sometimes this deep reflecting is only in seasons. I get that.

Works for me.
I don't want to be callous, unkind and impatient, but I had felt some of that taking me on and I need a break. I don't even post on my political forum anymore, so I'm taking a break from more than one arena.
If there is anything we need more in this world than ever before, as we see the day approaching, is patience, kindness and unity.
