Suggestion:

Would it be possible to add another Thread Category? ( I guess thats what their called). A place called something like The Welcome Mat where we, the members can have a special place to welcome new members (like the one below)? Some may feel awkward about just jumping into the middle of existing threads (sometimes they jump right into a "heated discussion" and might be offended.) The Welcome Mat might be a good place to post welcome message to New Members and give them a chance to get a feel for the Forum (instead of jumping right into the middle of a convo). Just a thought.

How about "The Gauntlet"? Sort of a crash course on what to expect from this forum. New members (newbies or noobs for short) will be required to repeat "Thank you sir, may I have another?" while the more harsher of the regulars thrash them
